Title:How to make Invertor at home.
Apparatus :
1) 9V, Battery ( AH capacity as per required )
2) FET 2N3055 ( 2 nos field effect transistor)
3) Resistors 15 ohm, 10W ( 4 nos ).
4) Invertor power transformer.
5) Load ( Bulb or any other).
6) Connecting wires 1.5 sqmm.
Procedure:

Do the connection as per above circuit diagram
Note: transformer use in circuit is Inverter power transformer which is for special purpose having 3 input terminal and 2 output terminal as per shown in fig.

what is the reason to connecet this resistor in parallel wit FET
ReplyDeleteThe role of the base resistor is to
Deleteexpand the negligible transistor input voltage
range (about 0.7 V) to the logical "1" level
(about 3.5 V) by converting the input voltage
into current. Its resistance is settled by a
compromise: it is chosen low enough to
saturate the transistor and high enough to
obtain high input resistance. The role of the
collector resistor is to convert the collector
current into voltage; its resistance is chosen
high enough to saturate the transistor and low
enough to obtain low output resistance
